The flame-retardant function of the balaclava is ensured by a unique outer fabric composition. The Modacrylic used in the balaclava’s fabric has flame-retardant properties, meaning the entire balaclava’s flame-retardant performance is due to the raw material used, not, for example, the finishing.

The fabric used in the cut-resistant and flame-retardant balaclava is flame-retardant according to the PN-EN ISO 15025 standard: method A, non-flammable, extinguishing in less than 2 seconds after removal from a flame, non-softening, and non-drip.

The cut- and puncture-resistant function is ensured by a liner sewn into the neck area of ​​the balaclava.

The balaclava’s mechanical parameters are determined based on the PN-EN 388 standard:

Puncture resistance: Level 3 (on a scale of 1-4).

Blade cut resistance: Level E (on a scale of A-F).

Tear resistance: Level 4 (on a scale of 1-4).

In addition to safety, the anti-knife balaclava ensures comfort of use, even in the most challenging conditions:

It has high sweat resistance: Level 4 (on a scale of 1-5).

It has high air permeability: 400 l/m²/sec.

The design of the anti-knife balaclava allows for the closure and opening of the visor, allowing the face to be exposed without removing the balaclava when full protection is not needed.
