Anti-cut balaclava, anti-puncture balaclava and flame-retardant balaclava in 1 product

The flame-retardant function of the hinged balaclava is ensured by a unique outer fabric composition. The Modacrylic used in the balaclava fabric has non-flammable properties, meaning the entire balaclava’s flame-retardant performance is due to the raw material used, not, for example, the finishing.
The fabric used in the cut-resistant and flame-retardant black balaclava is flame-retardant according to the PN-EN ISO 15025 standard: method A, meaning it does not burn, extinguishes in less than 2 seconds after removal from a flame, does not soften, and does not drip.
Cut and puncture resistance is ensured by a liner sewn into the neck area of ​​the balaclava.
The balaclava’s mechanical parameters are determined based on the PN-EN 388 standard:
  • Puncture resistance: level 3 (on a scale of 1-4).
  • Blade cut resistance: level E (on a scale of A-F).
  • Tear resistance: level 4 (on a scale of 1-4).

The design of the anti-cut balaclava allows you to close and open the hood, thus revealing your face without removing the balaclava when full protection is not needed.

 

FR balaclava functionalities:

  • protective (against cold, wind, sun, dust, smoke, shrapnel, sharp tools, and insects),
  • anonymizing (face covering during emergency operations, for example),
  • functional (protects the inside of a helmet from sweat and dirt and prevents abrasions).
